Auditions

Me and my twin sister Clara were eating breakfast. Our Dad was reading the newspaper and suddenly Clara spotted something. She squealed and shouted “Mary, Mary quick there’s auditions for a play!”

“It says here that they’ll be on tomorrow” Clara was saying. We were in our bedroom reading the papers. Clara and I are obsessed with drama. Next day we were at the Rue Theatre feeling very nervous. We were called in. I was playing the role of Alice in Alice in Wonderland and Clara was playing the role of the Mad Hatter. Then I noticed that we seemed to be on television. Then, we exited “stage left”. I hope we got a part!
