I was going to bed when I heard a banging noise coming from my wall. I thought it was nothing so I went back to bed. I fell asleep for about three hours and I woke up to banging noises and voices. They sounded old. “Hello??” I yelled. No reply.
The next morning I went to my friend Carla’s house. I told her what had happened. She said it was nothing and she would stay the night. Later that night she heard it as well, so we went to take a look. It took a long time to find a way into the wall but Carla found a mini-door behind my mirror. I went in. There were two old homeless men living in my wall all along. Who are they and what are they doing there?!
Hi Hannah,
I enjoyed reading your story. Well done.
It reminded me a little of Anne Frank’s story during WW2. She was hiding in the attic/annex of a house for 25 months.
Good work this week.
Keep writing in these uncertain times.

What a curious and mysterious tale Hannah. I like the way you set up the suspense, allowed it to settle down, then brought it back, yet still had time within the 100 words to (partly) settle the puzzle. I wonder though how this ties in with Week 26’s picture prompt? Or perhaps you decided on your own theme?
Well done and keep rising to the Challenge.
Hi Hannah,
Loved the spooky nature and mystery of your 100WC , the creepy noises, the secret door, the mystery homeless people we re all spending a lot of time in our houses now and I loved that you used your house this as an inspiration for your story.
Well done.
I really enjoyed your story Hannah! I see that you have three comments from team 100! Good job sister.
